REVISED to include location of hearing
PUBLIC HEARING
MARIN COUNTY LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM AMENDMENT
The Marin County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 1:30 PM to consider the five separate Local Coastal Program Amendments (LCPAs) approved with modifications by the California Coastal Commission (CCC) on November 2, 2016. At the close of the hearing the Board may act to accept or not accept each of the separate Amendments. Staff recommends the Board accept Amendments 1 and 2, which (excepting the Hazard policies) comprise the entire Land Use Plan setting out the fundamental policies for managing Marin's coast, as well as Amendment 6 (Administration), as modified by the CCC, and not accept modified Amendments 3 and 7. The materials for the hearing are now available.
The hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers (Room #330 - Administration Building), Marin County Civic Center, San Rafael, California.
Other Information:
The estimated time above is provided for reference, and the hearing could start later. The final agenda will be posted Thursday before the scheduled hearing on the Board's website at http://www.co.marin.ca.us/efiles/BS/AgMn/cybagnda.htm. Please see below to for how to obtain a copy of the staff report. Written material should not be mailed or delivered directly to the Board because it will not be accepted or considered as part of the administrative record for the project.  Written material for the Board of Supervisors should be submitted to staff at  MarinLCP@marincounty.org at least 10 days prior to the hearing date so that it can be distributed and considered by the Board of Supervisors with the staff report.  Any written material submitted after this date will be distributed to the Board of Supervisors prior to or at the hearing.
How to Obtain LCPA Documents:
The staff report as well as the Coastal Commission Approved LCPA and other related documents are available on the website at MarinLCP.org on the Plans and Documents page. Paper copies are also available from the Marin County Community Development Agency front reception desk in room 308 at the Marin County Civic Center.
